Trimming the Tree Dinner

Ok, yes, I am aware that there is no tree in the picture above. We do not have it up yet, hence the title of this post...I also wanted to share the fabulous job Chuck just did in renovating the fireplace. I mean, look at what it used to look like:

Alright, back to the food. I started making a nice dinner for us last year when we trimmed the tree, and decided to keep it as a tradition. The appetizers are easy enough to eat while hanging ornaments; and dinner is eaten while enjoying the newly decorated tree!
